Safe and hygienic:

Our treatment therapists are highly trained in hygiene practices, follow strict sanitation procedures, and have been inspected and passed by environmental health. We use specialist tanks and each client has to wash their feet prior to treatment.

There are a number of fish pedicures opening throughout the UK which have attracted some unfavourable media attention. This is because it is unfeasible to practice proper hygiene due to the large numbers of people having the treatment throughout the day, and not leaving adequate time for the water to be sterilised. At WonderFish we individually check all our customers’ feet to ensure hygiene practices are adhered to.

Our Garra Rufa spa treatments are completely safe and the health and safety of our clients is paramount. A Health Protection Agency (HPA) spokesperson said: "The HPA and Health Protection Scotland is currently unaware of any cases of infection associated with the use of the fish spas pedicures in the UK."
